'Tech Hubs': 4 Cities in America Prospected to be the Newest Tech Towns

The height of technology has never been more progressive than it is now. Many companies are thriving to offer the general public materials that are innovative as well as brand new. Silicon Valley is the tech hub of the United States, located in San Francisco's bay area. It is home to numerous startup companies and such and it surely will give the greatest prospects for emerging tech companies to build.

Unfortunately Silicon Valley is one of the most expensive realty areas. Los Altos in 2014 has been dubbed by Coldwell Banker as the most expensive real estate market in the United States.

Average home prices in the area are around $2 million dollars. Business hoping to set up shop in Los Altos will also face the difficulties of finding a not so expensive place to rent or to buy.

In reality, there are many cities or areas that are now being explored by tech companies. The expensive realty in Silicon Valley discourages many companies, and so looking for cheaper alternatives have begun.

There are four prospected areas in North America that have been listed to have the possibility of becoming the next tech hub in the country.

First up is the famous city of Austin. The city located in the heart of Texas has been invaded by numerous data-focused tech companies in recent years. Austin is home to one of the biggest festival that centers on innovation, the South by Southwest, which makes the city quite high on the prospected new tech hubs.

Second is the Research Triangle. It is called the Research Triangle due to it housing numerous prestigious universities. The eight-county region includes Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill cities in North Carolina.

Third on the list is South Florida. Kauffman Index named South Florida as the number two city with the most startup activity. There has been amazing activity in the healthcare arena in this region.

Last but not the least is Colorado. If one is thinking about startup companies in the line of natural foods, biotech and computer storage, then Colorado is the market one should be aiming for.
