A Prince in Shining Armor: 'Prince William' Helps a Girl Injured in Serious Car Crash

Prince William came to the rescue when a young girl was injured in a terrible car accident last Wednesday, Sept. 30.

BBC reported that a 9-year-old girl was walking in the town of Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, England, in the afternoon when a Ford and a Mercedes collided which resulted in one of the vehicles striking the young pedestrian.

The 33-year-old husband of Kate Middleton, who was a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, was on the scene to help fly the victim to the hospital.

Wonderwall informed that the young lass suffered a broken legs and pelvis. Police told the publication that she is in critical condition. Another girl was also hurt in the accident but her injuries were reported as minor.

Us Weekly shared that this is not the first time that the father of Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 5 moths, has lent his royal hand to those who are in need. The duke, who served in the Royal Air Force before working as an air ambulance pilot, has participated in 156 search and rescue operations which resulted in the rescues of 149 people, according to the royal family's official website.

Meanwhile, it seem like Prince William's relationship with Kate is getting stronger by the day. As a matter of fact, they were sighted getting sweet cuddle from each other after England played Wales in the Rugby World Cup.

"It was a nail-biting match, which saw Wales score a stunning 28 to 25 victory over England," Us Weekly reported. "Afterwards, William, 33, jokingly commiserated with his younger brother and put his arms around his wife, cuddling her and sweetly laying his cheek next to hers."

Prince Harry was also spotted together with the pair but he chose not to join the two. The 31-year-old, who still has the rugged ginger bread beard he grew during a recent trip to Africa, watched the game as he is the honorary president of England Rugby.
