After two years of marriage, Avril Lavigne broadcasted her split from Nickelback musician, Chad Kroeger. But just after a month the ex-couple are still in a good-natured and harmonious friendship as they remain working together.
Avril wrote on Instagram on Saturday, 'YeeHaw! Writing with Chad today'. Along with her post is a photo of her sitting on a black leather couch while wearing a relaxed ruffled blouse, and jeans and a cowboy hat while playing an acoustic guitar.
The 'Complicated' vocalist also added a snap of the 40-year-old Chad smiling and sitting in a chair while plucking a guitar. He was wearing a baseball cap, wearing a checkered top and jeans. The photos had a caption of 'Back where it all started ...'.
Snapshots appeared to be taken in a studio with plenty of guitars.
After being diagnosed having Lyme disease in 2014, she went public with her disease in April after being quiet for about five months. A severe case of Lyme disease was diagnosed in her. There are times she couldn't breathe, talk or move. She only revealed these things during her recovery,
She recently launched a five-week campaign to raise funds for the children or young adults who suffer from the same disease. She is also working with Prizeo, a digital fundraising platform, in order to raise up more money for the Avril Lavigne Foundation.
The singer stated that she is so excited 'that this year's campaign is supporting people with Lyme disease and helping others to better understand the issue.'
A fortunate fan who will donate to her foundation can also win a speaking role in her new movie Charming.
Avril shared an intimate photo last month of herself and Chad during their wedding in France on Instagram, with a quote 'It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support.'
