David Schwimmer Show: ‘Friends’ Ross Geller’s Big Comeback To TV, ‘American Crime Story’ And New British Sitcom!

It's been 11 years since "Friends" ended in 2014 to the heartbreak of many, even though Ross and Rachel did end up together after years of going back and forth - and while most of the cast members have gone on to further success after it ended, there's one of them who's been mostly absent from television ... but David Schwimmer's show is about to change that!

Jennifer Aniston has gone on to have one of the most successful careers in Hollywood, Courteney Cox had a great run with "Cougar Town," Matthew Perry is currently starring in "The Odd Couple," Lisa Kudrow has been on "The Comeback" and "Web Therapy" and Matt LeBlanc won a Golden Globe for "Episodes" - so it's time for a David Schwimmer show!

According to AV Club, the new David Schwimmer show sees the 48 year-old actor going all the way across the pond to star in "Morning Has Broken" on the UK's Channel 5, helmed by "Love Actually" actress Julia Davis and Nick Mohammed.

As Deadline reports, David Scwhimmer's show follows Davis' character, Gail Sinclair, a former "Queen of Daytime" television whose popularity has come to an all-time low, until an American producer (Schwimmer) is brought in to boost her career back up.

While this is a major comeback for Schwimmer as an actor, in fact the star has remained active in the decade following the end of "Friends," though he has focused his efforts behind the camera as well as on the stage - and now, as BBC reports, he'll also be on the six-part sitcom.

This, however, isn't the only David Schwimmer show waiting to get released, as the star will also be part of next year's "American Crime Story," where he will be taking on the role of Kim Kardashian's father, Robert, during the infamous O.J. Simpson trial in a series that will also see Selma Blair playing Kris Jenner.

In any case, it's great to see a new David Schwimmer show comeback underway - everyone misses Ross on TV!
