The one thing which seems to cause mumbled, mad comments and occasional hoots of scorn in all people - no matter what their age, gender, nationality or religion is the airline meal.
Pictures of inedible and disgusting looking foods in an airline have been humiliated across the internet lately. But surprisingly twist of the situation had occurred after some passengers stand up for the humble in-flight meal, as they share the snaps of their eye-catching snacks.
Knowingly, that the most of the images have been shared by Business and First Class flyers, that proved that anyone can eat well while in flight, for a price.
Among the meals shared on Instagram is caviar and smoked salmon, a nine-bowl Japanese starter and a plate of Spanish tapas. These images of meals serves as counteract by a group of optimistic posts, mostly by Business and First Class passengers, who are proving that in-flight food can be just as appetizing as any cuisine at a fancy restaurant.
The humble economy-class meal has come in for more criticism this week, via the hashtag #planefood, after passengers take to Instagram to voice their grudge against their "slow-cooked pork with couscous" looks more like "slow-drowned dog in custard".
During last week emergence of a new set of photos revealing what appear to be the most unappetising "dinners" ever to be thrown onto a tray and flown around the globe which may, or may not, be safe to eat, depending on how near to starvation you find yourself at the time they are served, and how brave you are feeling.
This logic of outrage is, of course, not anything new. Not least because each of these verbal abuse to the art of cooking will be given under a name that only the most specialized of cabin crew could deliver with a straight face.
