Kate Winslet’s Oscar On Display At Home Bathroom, As Are Jodie Foster’s And Emma Thompson – Find Out Where Stars Keep Their Oscars Here!

Earlier this week, the British actress revealed that she keeps Kate Winslet's Oscar, which she won for her 2008 film "The Reader" after being nominated and losing five times, in her home's bathroom for the most adorably sweet reasons - but she's not the only one who keeps her Academy Award in the loo!

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal recently ahead of her newest film, "Steve Jobs" starring Michael Fassbender, the 39 year-old actress was asked, as stars often are, where exactly she kept Kate Winslet's Oscar now that it's been years since she won it, and her answer was simple: in the bathroom.

"The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, 'I'd like to thank my son and my dad'-and you can always tell when someone has, because they're in there a little bit longer after they flushed," said the actress on why she keeps Kate Winslet's Oscar in the bathroom. "They'll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It's hysterical."

According to The Guardian, Kate Winslet's Oscar isn't the only Academy Award that has ultimately found its home in a bathroom: Lionel Richie and Emma Thompson do the same, as did Jodie Foster at some point, though ultimately deciding against this after seeing the two statuettes were getting corroded.

Neither of them gave a reason as sweet as the one for Kate Winslet's Oscar placement!

Radio Times reports on some other spots for actors' Academy Awards, including how Christian Bale's daughter is the one that manages his Oscar while Jennifer Lawrence sent hers home to her folks in Kentucky because it "puts a weird energy out" - and J-Law's former love rival, Gwyneth Paltrow, keeps it locked away because it freaks her out.

"X-Men" star Anna Paquin, who got her Oscar as a young girl for "The Piano," keeps her statuette in the sock drawer and Nicole Kidman sent hers over to her parents' home in Sydney, while more traditional winners like Reese Witherspoon, Morgan Freeman and Whoopi Goldberg keep it on shelves, while Tom Hanks' is accompanied by other family accomplishments, like a World's Greatest Mom trophy wife Rita Wilson got at some point.

Natalie Portman, on the other hand, recently revealed she doesn't know where hers is, calling it a "false idol."

In other words, besides Kate Winslet's Oscar, there are plenty of sweet and funny anecdotes of where people keep the golden naked little man after the big night!
