White House: Petitioned to Lift Nick Diaz Ban and Have Him Back on the Octagon

During UFC183, Nick Diaz made the headlines as he was tested positive for drug testing [marijuana]. As per MMA Junkie website, NAC [Nevada Athletic Commission] shook the MMA world with their decision by implementing a 5 year suspension against Nick Diaz after he failed post fight drug test last January 31.

Amidst the suspension claim, one person identified as T.C, from Boaz Ala made a stand by starting an online petition on the website WhiteHouse.gov stating "Lift the NSAC ban from MMA fighter Nick Diaz."

Their petition stated that he was unfairly banned by stripping him of his right to fight in the cage for testing positive in Marijuana, in which he is using for medical purposes.

"Nick Diaz was unfairly banned from being a professional fighter by the Nevada Athletics Commission; they ruled based on their personal feelings and beliefs towards the use of medical Marijuana and used their power to deprive Mr.Diaz of being able to make a living."

As of the moment the petition that was submitted on September 14, 2015 gathered 63.065 signatures and they still lack 36,935 to make the 100,000 mark in just a month. They team only has two weeks left to be able to hit the mark.

He may have been off the octagon, but he's still worth millions. As per the Celebrity Net Worth website, Diaz is currently worth $3 million. Nick Diaz has been making a name in the mix atrial arts industry as he continued to prove himself worthy inside the cage. He competed in several MMA fights such as The Ultimate Fighting Championship, Strikeforce and World Extreme Cagefighting.

He made a debut on his first professional MMA fight way back 2001 at IFC Warriors Challenge, he won the fight via triangle choke. He may have had a suspension, Diaz still have numerous sponsors and endorsements.
