Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting called it quits after 21 months of marriage and people are wondering what really went wrong. The Big Bang Theory actress cited "irreconcilable differences" on court papers and an insider just revealed the 28-year-old Tennis pro's downer attitude have prompted the split.
"Ryan was home all the time," a source told Hollywood Life. "He was dealing with an injury and would be kind of a party pooper and would really want people to feel bad for him."
"Kaley's life on the other hand, is going pretty well right now and she is a very fun loving person," the source continued. "They had a lot of good times together, but the change in his demeanor following his injury made him different from the person she fell in love with. She decided that it would be better to move on because things weren't helping to change his attitude."
Another insider told US Weekly the 29-year-old actress also had problems dealing with her ex-husband who "developed a dependency on painkillers" due to his injuries.
"She tried to make it work, but felt like she was the only one making an effort," the source added.
Although the 29-year-old actress filed for divorce on September 29, the documents showed the couple has already been separated since September 3.
The actress and sports superstar wed in a New Year's Eve ceremony on December 31, 2013 after dating for five months.
Since the split, the highest paid TV actress just turned her attention to her love for animals. "Kaley is doing better than expected," another source told Hollywood Life. "She's putting all her focus and energy on her animals right now, especially her new horse Zaza. She wants to devote her time helping disadvantaged kids with her rescue animals."
Cuoco just posted a photo with her new horse on Instagram captioned, "Bonding time with #zaza."
