Big Companies To Use Renewable Energy To Fight Climate Change

Global warming is no longer a new issue in this generation. Climate change is in fact one of the most talked about topics and since that is the case, the human race has to come together as one to fight this phenomena. The good news is that huge companies are now uniting to help this problem be fixed as soon as possible by using renewable energy instead of the synthetic ones, according to Venture Capital Post.

About nine known huge companies made a decision on Wednesday to do something about by being a part of the a global coalition of firms with the intention of using renewable energy this time for their operations says to The New York Times.

Venture Capital Post revealed these companies and they are Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Walmart, and Goldman Sachs. Moreover, Procter & Gamble reported that it is their goal to use 30% renewable energy by 2020. This means that all their products in the United States would now be produced using this new proposed energy that would help a lot in saving the environment.

The Vice President of the company, Len Sauers, opened up in an interview about this topic and she said, "We've been very clear that we think climate change is something that's real and needs to be addressed." She continued with, "People that use our products expect a company like P&G to be responsible."

It is great to see that people are starting to become more aware that solar power could solve climate change. A lot of corporate leaders are now dedicating their time to make a change in this world before it is too late. These huge companies are setting a good example for the future generation and corporate owners that it shouldn't just be about making money, but also saving earth one step at a time.
