Caitlyn Jenner's former wife Kris Jenner is having a hard time in accepting her transition from male to female in different ways, while on the other hand her former second wife Linda Thompson is fascinated with the transition.
The 65-year-old is an American songwriter/lyricist, and former actress and a beauty pageant winner.
Linda Diane Thompson said that though the change was surreal for the family, when she watched her former Olympian husband's docuseries 'I Am Cait' she was amazed and glad to see how all the kids have embraced Caitlyn as a parent.
The American lyricist and former second former wife of Caitlyn added that although they are not close friends, she has always invited the reality star whenever there's a family function.
She admitted that it sometimes gets a little frustrating to look at her former husband in his new body, but she feels proud of him.
Thompson admits “I have to be honest and say it’s strange for me to see this beautiful woman, and look in her eyes, and think, ‘That’s the father of my children,’” the actress revealed. “That being said, I’m totally supportive of her and always have been.”
Thompson had a relationship with Elvis Presley for four years. Their relationship was portrayed in the 1981 television movie Elvis and the Beauty Queen.
In 1980, Thompson began a relationship with former Olympic Gold Medalist decathlete Bruce Jenner. The couple married on January 5, 1981 in Oahu, Hawaii.
They have two sons together, Brandon and Sam Brody, popularly known as Brody. She was currently writing a memoir due for release next year.
“It’s certainly not a tell-all,” she says. “It’s about forgiveness, kindness, loving, acceptance, embracing people for who they are.” The couple separated in 1986 and divorced thereafter.
On June 22, 1991, Thompson married Canadian composer and record producer David Foster; they divorced in 2005.
