JoJo is making a comeback, and it's more surprising than expected!
Entertainment Tonight visited the 24-year-old singer on the set of her new music video, "When Love Hurts," which is actually JoJo's first official comeback in nearly ten years.
In fact, her first hit single, "Leave (Get Out)" debuted in 2004, while her follow-up "Too Little Too Late" released in 2006.
Tooting a new musical sound, JoJo released a collection of three singles back in August, called a tringle.
"I wanted to give a taste of what's the come make an impact in that way while not revealing everything. [...] There is an amazing album to follow, which I'm so proud of," JoJo said.
In fact, one of those three singles was "When Love Hurts," produced by Benny Blanco and Jason Evigan. JoJo shares what she envisioned for the music video:
"I wanted to incorporate the element of vogue [and] there's choreography kind of inspired from different culture around the world. [...] There's some Thai, some Indian - it's really cool and it just feels powerful."

So why was JoJo missing for so long? Well, she was somehow involved in some legal battles with her previous record label for a few years:
"I was kind of in limbo for a long time where I wasn't able to officially release music, there wasn't distribution, and I was just caught in the crossfire of that. [...] My fans really stuck by me they started a Free JoJo campaign on social media. It really kept me going and kept me feeling like I could do this and get out on the other side, so with some great lawyering and some perseverance and belief, I am on the other side. [I] signed to Atlantic [Records] early last year, the same day that I signed the release from my previous label, and got right into the studio a couple months later and then have been just working on music ever since."
JoJo net worth is $5 million.
