Wedding bells may soon be ringing for 'Gotham' stars Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie.
It was previously reported that the former 'Homeland' actress is pregnant with her costar's baby. This would be the second child for Morena Baccarin, who has a 23-month-old son Julius with estranged husband, director Austin Chick.
Morena Baccarin's announcement was bittersweet, as it was made through legal documents prepared for her ongoing divorce from Austin Chick. The documents were obtained by TMZ, who shared the news.
"Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant," Baccarin said in a statement.
Despite all the nasty details related to the news, Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie still have a lot of reasons to celebrate. The former 'OC' actor's sister has officially welcomed Baccarin into the family via Twitter.
Couldn't be happier for @ben_mckenzie and @missmorenab. Welcome to the family, Morena! Also... I'M GONNA BE AN AUNT

Austin Chick had filed for divorce last June and had even pointed out that Morena Baccarin got pregnant while they were still together. The actress insisted that the pregnancy happened after they were separated and requested full custody of their young son Julius.
On Thursday, a judge ruled that Morena Baccarin and Austin Chick will share joint custody of the toddler. Julius will stay with his mother in New York City and Chick was given eight visiting days per month.
Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie are currently playing lovers in the Fox TV series 'Gotham.' McKenzie portrays James Gordon, a detective trying to keep Gotham City safe. Baccarin plays Dr. Leslie Thompkins, a psychiatrist working at the Arkham Asylum. The TV pair started working together in the episode 'Rogues' Gallery' and was revealed to be seeing each other in 'The Fearsome Dr. Crane.'
There is no word yet on when Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie will be getting married.
