Kate Middleton and Prince William are finally parents to a baby boy and the new parents "couldn't be happier."
The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the couple's first child together at St. Mary Hospital in London. Kensington Palace announced that the royal baby weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces and arrived at 4:24 local time.
Now the only thing left to do is pick a name.
According to the Daily, the earlier leader among boy's names is, George, which is now 5-1, along with Henry.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we saw George as a first name as a tribute to the queen's father," said Victoria Arbiter, ABC's royal contributor and daughter of former Queen Elizabeth II press secretary Dickie Arbiter.
She said George is a great name because it's become trendy, cool and fun, without being silly.
"We may also mention of Philip, possibly Charles for William's father. We may see Arthur, which is a middle name that both William and Charles share. All very traditional," Arbiter said.
The name James also has linked to both families.
"The name of the baby will be announced in due course," Kensington Palace said in a statement.
Will and Kate will decide when to make the announcement.
There have been no reports on the name picked for the baby boy, but a statement revealed that he was in "great health." The baby is being addressed as HRH Prince of Cambridge, a title that has not been used in over 190 years.
"It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine, and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby body," Prince Charles, said in a statement, according to the Los Angeles Times. "I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time, and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future."
The announcement was made with a proclamation signed by the doctors and then delivered to Buckingham Palace in London and displayed for the public to see.
