70 is indeed not the new 50.
Journalist Geraldo Rivera posted a semi-nude picture of himself on his Twitter account.
He captioned the revealing picture "70 is the new 50." Rivera appears in front of the mirror wearing nothing but a rose-colored lenses and covering himself with a well-placed towel. The Fox News commentator also added he was going to land in a bit of hot water for showing the public his body.
"Erica and family are going to be so pissed... but at my age" he added.
Rivera's wife Erica Levy took it all in good humor telling E! News online that she was proud of her husband.
"This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when I fall asleep first ... Thank God we have towels in the bathroom. But I'm proud of my husband looks so hot!"
Rivera married Levy in 2003 and the couple have a 7-year-old daughter together. He also has four children from his previous marriage.
The photo went vital and a few celebrities took to twitter expressing different levels of disgust and admiration for the physique of the 70-year-old man.
Jackee Harry wrote "Dear Geraldo: STOP! Best Jackee."
Chrissy Teigen wrote "I opened up Geraldo's photo and my neighbor now thinks I have some old man fetish thanks."
Gregg 'Opie' Hughes of Opie Radio added "Leave the selfies to the teenager girls YOU CREEP! #ThrewUpInMyMouth"
Rivera later removed the picture and later twitted "Note to self: no tweeting after 1 am." He is currently the host of "Geraldo At Large" on FOX and host two syndicated morning radio shows. Rivera is reportedly considering a Senate run n New Jersey as a Republican.
