The daughter of one of the most prominent rockers in the past 40 years, Aerosmith leader Steven Tyler, has just announced her engagement to David Gardner through Liv Tyler's Instagram, and this would be her second marriage after a seven-year marriage with Spacehog musician Royston Langdon.
Earlier this year, the notoriously private actress announced to the world through Liv Tyler's Instagram that she had given birth to Sailor, her first child with Gardner and her second altogether (she also has a 10 year-old son, Milo, from her marriage to Langdon), and now the two have decided to tie the knot!
According to E! Online, the big news announcement came from Liv Tyler's Instagram, as the "Lord of the Rings" star posted a picture of herself showing off the bling, but it seems like it's hardly news that the two are engaged.
"They have been since last Christmas but prefer to be private," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly after Liv Tyler's Instagram pic seemingly confirmed the news nearly a year after they became officially engaged. "She's been wearing the ring."
Indeed, in Tyler's rare outings now that she has a small child and most of her time is spent taking care of the baby boy, the "Incredible Hulk" star has been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her finger, prompting speculation - but this new Liv Tyler Instagram pic shows she has nothing to hide when it comes to this big step in her relationship!
As Hello! Magazine reports, in the picture flaunting the ring, Tyler reveals she's leaving New York City for a while to go to Texas to shoot the second season of her HBO series, "The Leftovers," starring Jennifer Aniston's new husband Justin Theroux.
