Last week, new "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert released a video on his show about lifestyle celebrity brands, after actresses such Jessica Alba, Blake Lively, Ellen DeGeneres and Reese Witherspoon have released their own companies in that arena, most notably Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop - and the "Iron Man" star is not sitting back and taking it!
More often than not, Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop is in the center of one controversy or another, as the company created by Chris Martin's estranged wife has released a number of particularly expensive products as well as endorsing vaginal steaming in the past ... but that doesn't mean Paltrow takes herself seriously!
According to Vanity Fair, days after Colbert's gab at Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop and other lifestyle brands of the like, the actress posted a genius retort through Goop's newsletter, releasing a mock article entitled "6 Fail-Proof Tips for Launching a Men's Lifestyle Site."
As People Magazine reports, on the article, Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop shares some lifestyle brand wisdom with the talk show host, welcoming the change in genders in the mostly female-dominated industry with a snarky "it's about time someone brought a sausage or two to this clam bake."
Oh, snap!
According to Elle.com, Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop article was only beginning at that point, as she took to naming a few things Colbert could do to create a proper celebrity lifestyle brand, such as suggesting that he gets into a "cat fight" with Snoop Dogg (who recently launched a marijuana lifestyle website) and even saying that "everyone goes wild" for content that discusses genitals (a jab at their own steaming controversy), so they should cover the "growing craze among men, anal bleaching."
In any case, it would be fantastic to see Paltrow and Colbert doing a live version of this with the Oscar winner sitting on the interviewee chair for the show to talk about Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop - but in the meantime, watch the Colbert clip that started this friendly feud below!
