Online shopping just got a little more fierce with the help of supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks.
Banks is joining Ashton Kutcher and other celebrities, in investing and promoting the online shopping website TheHunt.com. A site which allows shoppers to search for outfits found on their social media sites, like Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Tumblr.
The Hunt team of employees will search the items and once found inform shoppers where each item can be purchased.
"The hunt solves that fashion dilemma in a fun and innovative way," Banks told Women Wear Daily. "What I love about the Hunt is that women help other women find the perfect outfit [head-to-toe]. I am excited to be apart of this new approach to collective retail and styling."
Banks, who is CEO and Chairwoman of The Tyra Banks Company, made the investment with her business, Fierce Capital, LLC. The former Victoria Secret supermodel completed an management extension program at Harvard Business School last year.
"I created Fierce Capital LLC because supporting female owned, led and targeted businesses is extremely important to me," the 28-year-old said. "We are excited about the Hunt, our first fashion investment, because it truly sucks to discover a great style item but not to be able to find and buy it."
The shopping site has already attracted celebrities like Christina Millian and Kat Graham.
