The Australian singer and songwriter Sia, has been known to most people for her monster pop hits like "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" from the 2014 album of Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear. And Sia's song Breathe Me, which brought Six Feet Under to a highly destructive close.
However, long before Sia was topping charts on her own, Sia was collaborating behind the scenes writing singles for well known artists like the American singers Beyoncé and Rihanna.
But now, Sia is launching her 'This Is Acting' album - it is a collection of unreleased songs Sia wrote for other artists, that includes soaring pop anthem, 'Alive.' Sia originally co-wrote it for the British singer and songwriter - Adele, and Tobias Jesso Jr. also contributed to create the track.
Sia stated, "They are songs I was writing for other artists, so I didn't go in thinking 'this is something I would say.'"
The official music video of 'Alive' is still in the works, and no words were out yet for the release date of Sia's new album.
According to E Online post, "After one full play of the song, we're hooked. The track without any doubt sounds like it was birthed right from Sia's fingertips. The words of the song paint the tale of a self-proclaimed survivor who has overcome a deep mysterious strife. Lines like "I had made every single mistake that you could ever possibly make. I took and I took and I took what you gave, but you never noticed that I was in pain" tends to remind of her of past chart-toppers like Elastic Heart and Chandelier.
On the other hand, according to Billboard, the 'Someone Like You' hitmaker Adele is reportedly planning to release her desperately-awaited new album this coming November.
And it has been rumored that Adele's upcoming album will feature tracks written by a series of songwriters as well like the multi-instrumentalist and producer - Ryan Tedder, Danger Mouse (from the music group Gnarls Barkley), Jesso Jr. (the Canadian musician from North Vancouver, British Columbia), and the Swedish music producer and songwriter - Max Martin.
