Chris Brown To Be Refused Entry Into Australia?

Chris Brown is scheduled to tour  Australia in December but the R&B artist now appears in danger of being refused entry by Australia authorities for his record on domestic violence.

This came two months after the Philippine government refused to let him leave the country for allegations on fraud. The complaint was brought forth by the independent religious group, Iglesia ni Cristo, which claimed that the star failed to appear at a New Year's Eve show for which they paid him the amount of $1 million.

Senator Michaelia Cash, a Minister for Women in Australia stated during a conference on September 24, that the 26-year-old hitmaker is "not of the character", thus they are denying him entry into their country.

Cash added:"People need to understand, if you are going to commit domestic violence and you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you, 'You cannot come in."

In March 2009, Chris was charged with felony, assault and criminal threats on pop star Rihanna. The incident prompted British immigration authorities to decline his visa application the following year.

The 27-year-old 'Diamond' singer suffered extensive bruising on her right eye and lips.

However, Australia isn't the only country who's  denying the approval of Brown's visa. Great Britain, Canada and New Zealand denied the approval as well.

Its common for perfomers like Brown, who had legal troubles, to be refused entry into different foreign countries.

When Great Britain refused to grant him his visa in 2010, they even had to postpone his British tour. In February the same case happened in Canada.

New Zealand has already ruled Brown ineligible for entry as a result of Britain's refusal to allow him admission, casting doubt over the Antipodean leg of his world tour.

The review of Brown's visa follows the government's decision earlier this year to refuse a visa for world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather on similar grounds. The 37-year-old American boxer has a criminal record, which includes serving two months in jail in 2012, after pleading guilty to the assault of his former partner in front of their children.
