Frances Bean Cobain has been in the public eye for her entire life due to being the only child of the marriage between Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole singer Courtney Love, but she's still tried to keep her persona life as private as possible, very rarely making headlines - that is, until Frances Bean Cobain's 2015 secret wedding.
Cobain has been dating musician Isaiah Silva since early 2010, and they got engaged in the fall of 2011, keeping a very low key relationship without publicizing their wedding plans, but it seems like earlier this week, there were Frances Bean Cobain 2015 wedding bells - but she may have skipped the invitation to mom Courtney.
According to Yahoo! Celebrity, the Frances Bean Cobain 2015 wedding was a top secret affair with a very small list of guests that only included the couple's closest friends, with Frances' mom Courtney nowhere to be seen - in fact, she didn't even know the event was happening until after her daughter tied the knot with her longtime love.
The Mirror calls Frances Bean Cobain's 2015 relationship to her mother "estranged," even though the two of them recently attended events for the HBO documentary "Montage of Heck," dedicated to the late Nirvana singer.
Due to this, Frances Bean Cobain's 2015 wedding went unnoticed by the 51 year-old frontwoman of Hole, as she found out about the ceremony afterwards when Frances called her on the phone to announced the big news.
Unsurprisingly enough, Love is reported to be "sad" about not being there for her daughter's big day, but it's not much of a surprise, as Frances has been known to be very private about her own life; besides, she was following her parents' example, as there were only eight guests to Kurt and Courtney's wedding in 1992.
"Courtney is sad she wasn't there but she totally understands that Frances is her own person and she's happy to let her do her own thing," said a source close to Frances Bean Cobain's 2015 wedding, Inside Toronto reports. "Plus, Isaiah is a really nice guy."
