Natalie Imbruglia admitted that sometimes she feels lonely after being divorced for over seven years from her 36 year old husband Daniel Johns the Silverchair rocker. However she believes that she is stronger than before because of what happened.
The 40 year old singer was born in Australia but relocated in United Kingdom twenty years ago become much better and a stronger person following the over seven years divorce with her ex husband Daniel Johns. Natalie now admitts that she feels isolated and lonely always.
Natalie Imbruglia said on Australia OK magazine ''Standing on my own two feet for so long has made me self-sufficient. I'm a survivor. And sure, I can get lonely sometimes, but then you can get lonely in a crowd.''
The "Torn" hit maker is currently single, and she has had a number of relationships after the separation with ex husband Daniel Johns whom she married in 2003 and lasted until 2008. Natalie indulges in romance and is adamant in looking for a person whom she will truly love.
''I have been in love and had relationships, you just don't hear about it because I'm a private person.'' Natalie added.
Despite the decisions she has made and whatever people will say, the singer superstar admitted that she suffers Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) due to her high level of fame that almost made her insane.
She said before ''I was anxious, nervous, stressed out and scared. I didn't want to go outside in case people recognized me. It nearly sent me insane. I felt I had to live up to 'Torn'. I didn't write it, but I was a part of the reason it was so successful.
''I felt so much pressure to live up to those expectations, then I was expected to top it. That was really hard for me.''
''I have OCD, which can be a problem because I'm not good with change. My motto is 'No Surprises'. It's an OCD from my mother. It is hard.'' Natalie added.
