"Empire" star Ta'Rhonda Jones was the E! News correspondent for the season two premiere of the show. While on the red carpet, Ta'Rhonda Jones tried to get the details and secrets from her co-stars.
Before she asks those exciting questions, Ta'Rhonda first had to say, "This is E! and I'm taking over E! I might need a new job, 'cause people die everyday on 'Empire.' I'm just saying."
While some succumbed, others did not. Take a look below:
Talking to Trai Byers (Andre Lyon)
"What can we expect from Andre this season that we didn't expect last season," asked Jones. To which Trai Byers replied:
"Andre is dealing with spirituality, you know what I mean? Taking it home with the heart and the spirit movement forward and he's going to do some things I think is going to challenge everybody..."
Talking to Taraji P. Henson (Cookie Lyon)
"Now you know I can't tell nothing," Taraji P. Henson told her "Empire" co-star. But it seems as though she had a quick change of heart:
"OK, let me say this: There will be lots of flashbacks [to] when she was in prison, so you'll get to see what made her so strong. She was strong when she went in! For somebody to serve 17 years of hardcore time and still come out and not lose their soul and not sellout, that's a hero to me. She could've run, she could've fleed, she could've moved to another country, she stood up and served her time."
Talking to Lee Daniels
Ta'Rhonda Jones asked "Empire" executive producer and co-creator Lee Daniels about rumored guest stars Oprah Winfrey and Mariah Carey, and this is what he had to say:
"I'm not allowed to say about all the guest stars. I'm really not. They've gagged me 'cause I got in so much trouble talking in the past. [...] Our bosses have gagged us from talking about that, but what I can say is it's not about the guest stars, it's about you guys, it's about the series regulars. And everybody keeps making a big deal, you know, they come and they go, honey. It's about y'all, better hit that mark otherwise people will lose them ratings."
Talking to Terrence Howard (Lucious Lyon)
When Ta'Rhonda asked Terrence Howard of what's happening with Lucious, he says: "I'm going to kill you." Which basically means, we sort of have an idea as to what's going to happen with Porsha Taylor.
