Blake Shelton is finally breaking his silence about that shocking Miranda Lambert divorce drama.
It was on July 20 when the couple announced that they're going their separate ways after four years of wedded bliss. Unlike many celebs that still have drama going on amidst their divorce, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert settled everything under the radar.
In fact, the news of their divorce surfaced on the media on the day the divorce was finalized.
In an interview with the "Bobby Bones Show" on Wednesday, Blake Shelton recalls: "In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. [...] Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was a nine or 10-day waiting period until it's over."
After the split went public, reports surfaced suggesting that Blake Shelton would be keeping the couple's Oklahoma ranch, while their Nashville home would be given to Miranda Lambert.
Shelton said on Tuesday, "We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that. [...] By the time anybody knew anything, it was over... It was done."
The day before the divorce was known to the public, Blake Shelton was still seen wearing his wedding ring. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert cried while performing on stage.
Won't take nothing but a memory, from the #housethatbuiltme #MirandaLambert ❤️

A few days after their divorce news, Entertainment Tonight caught up with Blake Shelton on the "The Voice" set, where the mentor admitted to drinking vodka in the middle of the day. "It's been one of those weeks," he told the publication.
Keeping his sense of humor, Blake Shelton decided to troll the paparazzi just days after the interview by pushing around an empty stroller around Los Angeles.
When a paparazzi photographer asked Blake Shelton regarding any regrets he had about the failed marriage, the 39-year-old country singer responded: "Yeah, man. I shoulda drank more today."
Of course, he was just trying to poke some humor with the paparazzi, as a representative for the singer confirmed it to Entertainment Tonight: "He knew the paparazzi was there and was just being funny."
