Katy Perry and John Mayer Back Together? Crooner Dedicates Song to 'Fireworks' Singer (WATCH)

John Mayer dedicated a song to Katy Perry during the first stop of his "Born and Raised" tour in Milwaukee.

The singer took to the stage at Milwaukee's Marcus Amphitheatre on Saturday and thanked Perry for helping him get through the vocal core problems he suffered for about 20 months, according to E! news.

The 35-year-old explained to his audience that he often whisper things in Katy's ear for her to say out loud on his behave.

"She would order [food] for me... and would tell people, It's nice to meet you, he says," Mayer told the crowd, according to the E!. "She was so patient as to continue to get to know me and love me."

Mayer dedicated the final song of the night, "A Face To Call Home," to "Katy, who is my face call home."

This is Mayer's first tour since he had surgery for a granuloma in his throat last August. The singer was ordered not to talk or sing for 10 months. Perry, 28, was watching Mayer from the sound board, according to the Milwaukee's Journal.

Perry recently told Vogue Magazine that she still has feelings for Mayer.

"I was madly in love with [Mayer]," she said. "I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about the relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind... beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."

Perry recently posted a picture of the two together celebrating the fourth of July.
