CBS has a new TV series called 'Limitless' and it would blow everyone's mind based on the pilot episode that it just released. Entertainment Weekly was no doubt impressed on how they featured the show on the pages of their website. It stars Jake McDorman (as Brian Finch) along with Bradley Cooper.
The series is actually the continuation of the 2011 movie of the same title. In the movie, the story is about a designer drug named NZT that made Bradley Cooper's character basically a superhuman. He was able to remember almost everything that happened in his life and he also discovered the power of deduction. It is a drug that makes an individual unlock its mind to its full potential.
Moving on with the TV series, critics are already saying a lot of positive things about it. The pilot came out really strong. The writing was amazing, especially when it was partnered with some intense action when the cops down to the Subway of New York were chasing Dorman's character. It was a breath taking moment because right there and then, Brian knew that the train would stop if he jumps off the track, while it was about to almost ran him over. His calculations were correct.
The story now is about Brian Finch being a frustrated rock star who is still trying his best to make it in the music scene. He used to have this band mate named Eli, who eventually gave him the magic drug. Brian has a dad who was in need of a liver transplant and the drug Eli gave him, could help him figure out how he could find answers to his father's situation. Unfortunately, when he needed another dose of it, he finds his friend lying dead in his apartment and that's when the cops started chasing him, as he was suspected to have killed him.
There is a lot to see on the next episode of 'Limitless' for sure, so better stay tuned.
