Wonder how stars meet for the first time? Well, some of them grew up together, in close neighborhoods or their parents know one another. Those stars who grew up in the lime light have ultimately met one another in some high end party, at some point in their lives. This is how the famous super model, Gigi Hadid and equally famous boyfriend, singer, Joe Jonas, met.
In an interview with Periscope, Gigi Hadid, 20, recounted her first meeting with her now beau, Joe Jonas. "We met at the Grammys when I was 13 years old," she revealed. "And he asked me to a baseball game, and I said, 'No.'" Citing that she at that time was very nervous and very young herself, she didn't know how to hang out with boys. At that time the Grammy's was on a Sunday and it seemed that Hadid was reluctant to accept the invitation due to the fact that she had classes the next day.
Jonas played it cool despite being blatantly rejected by the nervous young Hadid. He then wrote his number on a piece of paper and gave it to Yolanda Foster, Gigi's mother and wife to music producer, David Foster. Arguably, both became really good friend after then, except now, where they are more than just friends. Maybe they were always meant to be.
The couple confirmed their relationship back in May when they were photographed together, having lunch. Hadid just split up with longtime boyfriend, Cody Simspon during that time. The 20 year old Model is very happy with her new beau, despite the issues that were thrown their way, especially since Jonas was an ex of one of Hadid's closest friend, Taylor Swift.
