From its debut in 1962, "Sabado Gigante" has been one of the staple shows in the Spanish-speaking world, particularly in Latin America, so for Latinos in the U.S. and beyond, the "Sabado Gigante" finale was the end of an era, as it was the longest-running variety show on television.
The "Sabado Gigante" finale was filled with celebrity appearances, as the longtime host of the show, Chilean star Don Francisco (real name Mario Kreutzberger) said farewell to his decades-long show on Univision, and even President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle paid their respects to the iconic show and its host.
In the video below, the two current residents of the 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington, DC, try their best at Spanish to give some mad love to Don Francisco during the "Sabado Gigante" finale.
