If people think "Orange Is The New Black" is the only show that celebrates the LGBTQ community these days, then they can think again because ABC's "Once Upon A Time" is looking like it is about to explore this type of characters as well.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Once Upon A Time's show runners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis promises to explore an LGBT relationship this new season. It is about to happen as Mulan returns to the series.
They were asked to also explain more about the relationship that is about to happen between Mulan (played by Jamie Chung and Aurora (played by Sarah Bolger). Kitsis replied with, "We know that community have been big supporters of the show and we would love to be able to tell a love story that reflects that."
Horowitz on the other hand, seconded the motion and said, "We want the show to reflect the world as it is now. Whether that's going to be with any particular character, we're not going to say." Kitsis in the end guaranteed that this LGBT relationship is going to happen this year.
The producers think that it has long been due to incorporate this type of relationship in their story and it is just about time that they do it since it is now the world that everybody is living in and a lot of people would be able to relate to it.
TVLine also confirmed that this story is really going to happen whether some viewers will oppose it or not.
IB Times has the synopsis of the season 5 premiere of Once Upon a Time and the title would be "The Dark Swan." This is the season where viewers would meet King Arthur and his army along with Prince Merida who is about to help Emma in her journey.
