Guinness Will Release New Nitro Indian Pale Ale This Month

Beer is one of the most popular alcoholic drinks in the world but not only is it popular; it's also the most consumed beverage around the globe. Due to the fact that many product consumers love beer, there have been numerous companies that specialize in making them; even small time breweries never get too left behind. This has made the beer industry one of the largest, competing companies are vying to be the next big thing, and in creating the best beer.

Guinness is one of the leading beer company, they are most famous for their creamy, black stout beer. They are a company that originates from Dublin, Ireland. In recent years they started to break in to the American consumer industry, they first introduce their brewed beer the Blonde American Lager last year. But subsequently the company has decided to do more, and to release an Indian pale ale (IPA) beer to compete with the growing craft brewers.

The new Nitro IPA, a hop-forward beer brewed with five different hops in Dublin, is canned with a nitrogen ball. Guinness beers are normally found with this ball, which helps in creating a thick, creamy head. The IPA is going to be launched in the Unites States this month.

The beer is a project of the Brewers Project, which is a group of Guinness brewers responsible for the exploration, invention and perfecting new beers. As of this time the team has released 3 beers, the Dublin Porter, West Indies Porter and a lager named Hop House 13.

It seems the Americans are showing an interest to the Guinness brand despite their not so stellar results the first few years they entered the American economy. Diageo, the London-based beverage company that owns the brand, told Buzzfeed, "Guinness sales globally were flat, but in the U.S. sales increased 3% in the fiscal year ending June 30 - due to strong sales of the new Blonde American Lager. " This shows that the American consumers are willing to try out new beers from Guinness.
