If you're one of the people dreading that "Fuller House" may not be as good as the original, then you might soon change your mind.
Entertainment Tonight recently talked to Jodie Sweetin, where the 33-year-old "Full House" alum revealed some secrets and some details on the highly-anticipated Netflix revival.
"They're definitely working back in the familiarity that fans will recognize," Jodie Sweetin said while at People's Ones to Watch party on Wednesday. "And we're self-aware," added.
But what does she mean? Jodie Sweetin explains, "We're aware that we are 'Full House.' We don't take ourselves too seriously. I think fans will get a kick out of that."
Jodie Sweetin perceives "Fuller House" to be a show great for family viewing, much like its predecessor.
"There are 8-year-olds who are watching the show for the first time now, but the parents are like, 'Oh, I remember when I was 8 years old watching the show!' Generations will get a lot out of it," she says.
Although "Full House" ended two decades ago (yes, it's been that long!), Jodie Sweetin's character, Stephanie Tanner, seems to not have changed as much.
"She's the same," Sweetin described. "She's still got her jabbing wit, but she's a fun, kind of a little crazy adult."
You can also expect Stephanie Tanner's signature catchphrase to make a comeback on "Fuller House" too.
"'How rude!' definitely makes a comeback, I can say that at least," said Jodie Sweetin. "Fans will not be disappointed. Stephanie has not lost her catchphrase."
It gets even better: Jodie Sweetin revealed that the cast had get-togethers pretty often, even before the "Fuller House" project came to be; Jodie Sweetin explains:
"We haven't stopped getting together. We see each other all the time, every few weeks, so it was great. It wasn't a weird reunion for us. It was like, we get to go hang out, but on set, and do this again. We're a family - a really, really close family.
" [...] I had a conversation with Dave Coulier the other day - we were talking about how we're actually closer with a lot of people on this show than we are with some family members in our real life. We know each other inside and out."
As for those rumors about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen joining the Netflix revival, Jodie Sweetin says: "As of now, no. [...] But you never know."
