David Beckham cites Acting is "Just for Fun!"

According to David Beckham acting is just for fun and he would not consider it his new career.

Even though the 40 year old former football superstar has roles in Guy Ritchie's movie, Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. ,he insists that he doesn't have plans to take his stint in the silver screen seriously. He said that he is just enjoying this new cross over experience.

Last week rumors spread that David is professionally practicing acting as his new career.

On MyPorter.com David Beckham said ''I saw an article the other day that said this is my new career, and it's really not. It's something that I've dipped myself into from time to time, but I only did it for a friend, Guy."

''I did a small bit in 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.', and I've done little bit more for him in 'King Arthur'. But it's definitely not my new career, it's just fun, it's not something that I'm training to be better at.''

"You know that face you pull at Christmas when you're really disappointed with your present but everyone's looking at you so you have to act like you're really happy? Totally doing it right now."

On his interviews before Beckham said to have found acting as a ''a tough profession, where one needs a huge amount of skill and discipline''.

After two years of dating fashion designer and a former Spice Girl's singer Victoria they tied the knot in 1999. Beckham said that he is mostly spending quality time with his children Cruz 10 years old, Romeo 13 and Brooklyn 16.
