Ariana Grande Perfume Launch Hits $30,000 Revenue in Just an Hour

Ariana Grande danced up with full energy in New York as she unveiled her innovative fragrance. At the launch of her perfume, Ariana Grande whipped up a buying frenzy and sold $30,000 worth of products in just one hour at Macy's Herald Square.

Her fragrance 'ARI by Ariana Grande' was launched by 'Break Free' hitmaker on Wednesday. The pop star's personal appearance at the unveiling of the scent that is the first day of sales helped to move $30,000 worth of merchandise off the shelves for just an hour.

It was discovered that 250 fans bought a $119 box set that included the perfume, a 3.4 oz. eau de parfum spray, a 6.8 oz. body lotion, a 5 oz. hair mist and a 5.3 oz.

Fans who bought the set of perfume were treated to a pass to be close to the stage outside where Ariana performed her hits 'Bang Bang,' 'Problem,' and 'One Last Time' for fans who were also later treated to a private reception within the store.

Ariana - who illustrated the aroma as ''sweet, yet sexy, with some surprises underneath'' - looked amazingly good at the fragrance launch in a matching lavender crop top and skirt togehter with white high heels.

She took to Twitter to express thanks to all the fans who came out to support her perfume project, after the event.

She tweeted: ''Literally heading home with tears in my eyes!! thank you babes for making today so beautiful. u have no idea just how seriously loved u are!''

To celebrate her fragrance debut the 22-year-old hit the stage with two of her favourite men by her side - her brother Frankie J. and her rumored love interest Ricky Alvarez.

It was first revealed that Ricky was more than just the pint sized pop star's backup dancer back in July when the pair were caught canoodling at a Californian donut shop.
