After a strong series of rumors regarding cast, crew and plans for the new Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Netflix, finally there's some official confirmation as to what's up, and of course the first news includes "Jessica Jones" on Marvel, as the series nears its November 20 premiere.
Two months ahead of "Jessica Jones" Marvel debut, which will see Krysten Ritter play a super-heroine turned into a private detective, the first photos of the series are being released, as the world gets the first look at how Ritter will look when she joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to We Got This Covered, the first "Jessica Jones" Marvel photos have just been released, and they don't just show Ritter's take on the role but also a little on her co-stars, including Mike Colter, who will also be making his debut as Luke Cage ahead of his own show.
In the latest "Jessica Jones" Marvel pics, fans can also see the first sneak peeks of Rachael Taylor as Patsy Walker, David Tennant as villain Purple Mall and "Matrix" star Carrie-Anne Moss playing Harper in Netflix's second series set in the MCU.
In the past couple of days, ahead of "Jessica Jones" Marvel premiere, the company's site has been promoting a few casting news about their next project after "A.K.A. Jessica Jones," namely "Luke Cage" - like how after weeks of rumors, Alfre Woodard has been officially hired to play Mariah Dillard, a Harlem politician and cousin to main villain Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes (Mahershala Ali).
As it had been previously reported, Rosario Dawson will also come back to the MCU to reprise her role as Claire Temple from "Daredevil."
"Luke Cage" will begin shooting soon, and although the release date for the third Netflix Marvel show is still uncertain, general belief says it will premiere in the fall of 2016.
