A 33 year-old unidentified woman may have transported and illegally trafficked 30 pounds of marijuana from Mexico unknowingly. according to The Epoch Times.
The woman, who lives in Mexico but works in San Diego, allegedly crossed the U.S.-Mexico border early on Friday morning with 30 pounds of pot strapped to the bottom of her car.
When she arrived at work, an hour late, two unidentified males approached the vehicle and removed the packages underneath.
The woman then scared away the men as they ran back to their car and took off with the packages.
Police later found out that six packages were strapped to her car which contained about 30 pounds of marijuana according to The Epoch Times.
Authorities have yet to determine if the woman was an accomplice or if she was a "blind drug mule" as it is commonly known. Police also do not have any suspects in who initially strapped her car with pot.
CNN reported in 2012 that a "blind mule" was used to transport drugs from Juarez to El Paso.
The man said he was targeted by the drug cartel, but later spent six months in prison.
