Kylie Jenner's New App Dominates on iTunes Charts

Kylie Jenner might be the youngest in the Kardashian-Jenner clan but she has proved to be more popular than her other siblings. The 18-year-old has topped the iTunes chart with her app, leaving siblings Kendall Jenner, Khloe and Kim Kardashian behind.

Just few days after the popular family launched their brand new websites including its associated apps, Kylie is coming out on top. Her website, TheKylieJenner.com, is 74% more popular than her older sisters, DailyMail reported.

Moreover, Communly.com CEO Alaxic Smith claimed that more than 891,000 people downloaded all four apps in just 24 hours. He also revealed Kylie is ahead of her competition with Khloe in second place, followed by Kim and Kendall.

The youngest daughter of Kris Jenner took to Instagram to share her reaction to the news. "#1 I can't believe it. I love you guys," she wrote. "Can't wait to post more tomorrow."

The reality star has already used the website to dismiss reports she has had breast implants, confessing that the trick to her enhanced cleavage is simply a Victoria's Secret bra.

Fans are required to pay a subscription fee of $2.99 (£1.92) to access the four websites with the promise of exclusive content, beauty tutorials, blogs and interviews with the reality stars. Some people have criticized the famous family for making their followers pay despite the fact that the app is a big hit to fans, International Business Times UK reported.

"Wait...Kylie's app charges you $3 a month for makeup tutorials that you can find on YouTube for free," one Twitter user wrote. "Was going to pay the $2.99 a month for Kylie Jenner's app but then remembered I would like to retain some self dignity," another disappointed fan said.

This is not the first time that the reality TV family entered the app world, with the game "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" which took the industry by storm in 2014. The app was expected to make an astounding yearly revenue of $200 million with the 34-year-old wife of Kanye West taking an estimated $28 million for herself.
