Reality show star Kim Kardashian and Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries have finally settled their divorce case, according to Reuters. A trial was set for next month in Los Angeles.
Judge Hank Goldberg of the Los Angeles County Superior Court approved the settlement.
After marrying and then getting divorced merely 72 days later, the ex-couple had been fighting in court. Humphries claimed Kardashian had no intention of keeping to the marriage and only did it for her television show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians".
The two were married in 2011.
According to Reuters, "celebrities usually settle their divorces through negotiation rather than at a trial that can fuel publicity."
Humphries, 28, had been asking for an annulment, while Kardashian, 32, cited irreconcilable differences as grounds for the divorce. The terms of the divorce were not disclosed and neither of their publicists has chosen to comment on the situation.
According to TMZ, Kardashian was excited to see Humprhies because they have "unfinished business." No word if the two actually spoke. Kardashian is currently pregnant with rapper Kanye West's child and Humphries is gearing up for a playoff run with the Nets.
Kardashian was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000, separating in 2004.
She rose to notoriety in 2007 after her sex tape with R&B singer Ray J was leaked. Later that year, her reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" premiered, which has led to two spinoffs, "Kourtney And Kim Take New York" and "Kourtney And Kim Take Miami".
