'Game Of Thrones' Theory: Jon Snow Will Return In Season 6, But He's Leaving The Night's Watch For Good! Will He Still Be A Snow? [SPOILERS]

Jon Snow fans can finally rest easy. After months of waiting for Kit Harington to get a haircut and looking for pictures of the actor being on the set of 'Game of Thrones,' the man who portrays everyone's favorite bastard has admitted that his contract with the show will extend to a few more seasons.

But what will happen when Jon Snow comes back in 'Game of Thrones' Season Six?

Now that Jon Snow has been temporarily killed by his own brothers of the Night's Watch, the fallen Lord Commander is officially free of his oaths. Since he has been betrayed by the Night's Watch, it is highly unlikely that Jon Snow will want to stay in Castle Black surrounded by men who will probably try to stab him again.

So where will Jon Snow go after he leaves the Night's Watch?

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

In the book 'A Storm of Swords,' Robb Stark finds out that Bran and Rickon are dead while Arya is nowhere to be found. Since Sansa is already married to Tyrion Lannister, Robb considers legitimizing Jon Snow so the bastard can succeed Robb as the Lord of Winterfell. Unfortunately, Robb and Catelyn are murdered at the Red Wedding before the decree reaches Castle Black.

With Jon Snow finally a legitimate heir to Winterfell, he may ride to Winterfell to claim it back from the Boltons.

Will Jon Snow accept the change of his name to Jon Stark, or could he have a different family name altogether?

There is a possibility that Jon Snow may finally set out to learn about his parents from the only living person who knows the truth: Howland Reed. When Lyanna Stark was allegedly abducted by Rhaegar Targaryen, Howland Reed had accompanied Ned Stark to rescue his sister. Howland is the only living person who knows what happened in the Tower of Joy and could possibly confirm the popular R+L=J theory, which states that Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna.

Will Jon Snow save Winterfell as Jon Stark, or will he finally find out he could be Jon Targaryen. The truth will be revealed in the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones.'
