'Bindi Irwin' Dazzles Dancing With The Stars Judges and Viewers

Bindi Irwin, daughter of the famous crocodile enthusiast and hunter, the late Steve Irwin is part of the Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) cast, partnering it up with Derek Hough. She joined the cast with a determination that everything she will be doing in the show is dedicated to her late father. Even exclaiming that her father will always be her superhero and that everything she does in her life is to make him proud and to carry on his legacy.

Derek Hough was asked by media outlets about what it feels like to be partnering with such an amazing girl. According to him, it felt like magic, that she reintroduces the magic into one's life. Saying that she sees everything, the tiniest details in life makes her happy. "She's like 'I just saw a squirrel today! Amazing!" I'm like, you know what, what the heck, man! We need to start looking at that stuff. I love that about her," he added. But mostly he is excited to be Bindi's friend and mentor during the show.

During the opening of the shows 21st season, the duo did an impeccable dance to the song, Crocodile Rock by Elton John using the dance Jive. The dance was so well done that judges exclaimed it was the best dance of the night. It was graded as A+, with a score of 24 out of 30, giving the duo a head start.

The title of the song they chose also goes well with Bindi's main reason to do everything in her life, her father, who was a famous nature and animal lover, especially when it came to crocodiles. The team came to be known as team "Crikey" in the show. The team name was inspired by Steve Irwin's famous one liner back in his show when he was still alive.
