Super Mario 2015: Nintendo’s Baby Turns 30, Everyone From Microsoft To Nintendo Wishes Happy Birthday To Mustached Plumber! [VIDEO]

For 30 years, Super Mario, the mustached plumber with a big heart who's always up to saving Princess Peach from the claws of the very evil dinosaur Bowser - and as Super Mario's 2015 marks the third straight decade with this beloved character, it's time to celebrate!

Of course, the biggest celebration came from Nintendo, with the launch of their Super Mario 2015 campaign "Let's Super Mario," where they invited fans of the gaming franchise from all over the world to share their clips of the short and heroic plumber - but even longtime competitors stepped up to congratulate Mario!

According to The Verge, perhaps one of the most surprising Super Mario 2015 tributes comes from X-Box creator Microsoft, as last Sunday, September 13, also marks 8-Bit Day to commemorate Mario's adventures and what they did to the industry in the years that followed.

In their Super Mario 2015 homage, Microsoft created an Easter egg tipping its hat to the iconic Konami code on their homepage: by pressing the iconic up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right on the arrow keys, and then the B and A keys, the Microsoft's ninja cat mascot (in a adorable pixelated version) will suggest top results such as Frogger, Legend of Zelda and Pac-Man.

Of course, Microsoft wasn't the only one to celebrate the Super Mario 2015 anniversary, as Forbes reports that Google also created its own Easter egg based on the gaming plumber's likeness, as the biggest search engine in the world has added a new feature, and it's time to Google "Super Mario Bros." to find out how it works!

To spoil this adorable homage just a little bit, according to The Next Web, when googling the term, a little "?" block will appear, and upon pressing it a number of times, you might just one-up!

Happy 30th birthday to Super Mario in 2015!
