Tom Cruise's Crew for his New Movie Dies in Plane Crash

While in location for Tom Cruise new movie "Mena" two of his crew died in a plane crash and the other one is seriously injured.

According to Colombia's civilian aviation authority last September 9, 2015 Friday the small plane crashed in the Columbian Andes leading the to death of the two prodmembersuction crew including one person who was severely injured. One of the casualties was pilot based in Los Angeles.

A Universal spokesperson said ''An aircraft carrying crew members crashed while returning to Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin following production wrap on the film 'Mena' resulting in two fatalities."

''Further details are not available at this time. On behalf of the production, our hearts and prayers go out to the crew members and their families at this difficult time.''

On that plane crash incident, it was of good fortune that Tom Cruise was not in flight.

American Jimmy Lee Garland is now in the Intensive Care Unit for his severe injuries and sadly American Alan Purwin and Colombian Carlos Berl has died on a crash.

Aviation official said both engines of Aerostar hit by the bad weather after of their taking off.

Tom Cruise arrived last month in Columbia to start filming the movie Mena his new action role. The film is about a pilot and a drug runner who worked for the notorious syndicate Lord Pablo Escobar . It is also a story of an informant of the CIA in Medilline the second largest city in Columbia.
