NBC's 'The Blacklist' got renewed for another season and this time, it's going to dig deeper into the relationship of Red (played by James Spader) and Liz (played by Megan Boone). YouthHealthMag revealed some spoilers that fans of the show would die to know before it returns on TV on October 1.
TVLine also said that this time, the story will revolve on the search for Liz and Red and it is going to be done in a narrative. This is not how they started and it is definitely a different approach that the producers and directors of this series have come to decide on for this new season.
Creator Jon Bokencamp revealed that it does feel like they are creating a pilot from this new season because of the amount of new things that they will be doing, and that the viewers will really notice it. He said, "In addition to self-contained story elements, the TV show will develop the central relationship between its two leads."
He continued saying, "There's a really strange and powerful dynamic that (Red and Liz) have. Their resources are so incredible, and they complement each other in a really nice way."
There will be a lot of drama scenes that would lead to some romantic moments that the two will share, according to Bokencamp. He also mentioned a huge spoiler to The Hollywood Reporter revealing that the new storyline would entail that Liz will no longer be just a mere FBI agent, but there is actually a real journey that she and Red have to face. It's the fact that both of them are now going to be fugitives in the new season, which will really create a lot of chaos in their lives.
