GQ Men of the Year Awards Hails Sam Smith as the Solo Artist of the Year

September 9, 2015, at  London's Royal Opera House Sam Smith was awarded as Ciroc Solo Artist of the Year at the GQ Men of the Year Awards and he was elated, proud and has reasons to celebrate because of his achievements.

Sam Smith the hit maker of the song "Latch" was so proud and in the mood to celebrate his victory at the annual awards ceremony @ London's Royal Opera House and announced to the public that the official theme song for the latest upcoming movie of James Bond "Spectre" will be sung by him..

On the red carpet, talking to MailOnline Sam Smith said: ''I've been keeping this secret for a year and it was intense. But I can't think of any better way to celebrate.''

At that event some stars to be included and to be honored the Breakthrough Musician of the Year David Gandy and James Bay who was named Hugo Boss Stylish Man, Jack O'Connell star at "Unbroken" who was named Vertu Breakthrough and Christoph Waltz for Actor of the Year.

The Honor for the Legend of the Year was awarded to the music enigma beyond time itself and for his over five decades of contribution in the music industry. There can be no other legend than The Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards, who walked also in the red carpet with his wife for Thirty two years Patti Hansen, Ronnie Wood his band mate and his actress wife Sally Humphreys.

Following his first ever performance earlier on this year at Glastonbury festival and received a special accolade, Lionel Richie was awarded Icon of the Year.

Emilia Clarke, actress of Games of Thrones washonored also as the Woman of the Year award. The ceremony was created to recognize and award the achievements and accolades of the famous celebrities for 2015.
