Justin Bieber is finally opening up about his breakup with Selena Gomez, and it looks like he's so heartbroken that he wants to remain single for a while!
Yahoo! reports that the 21-year-old singer was recently a guest in the Australian radio station KIIS 1065. During the interview, Justin Bieber revealed that he is spending some quality time with himself after the breakup.
"I kind of distanced myself from a lot of friends and I'm doing a lot of stuff by myself recently, which is kinda awesome," Bieber revealed before adding, "You don't figure yourself out unless you take that time and be by yourself."
But is Justin Bieber looking to move on after his split from Selena Gomez?
"I am a relationship type of guy, I love to be in love and I love cuddling and I love all that stuff but I got my heart broken and so I'm just going to let that heal up," Bieber told Kyle & Jackie O of KIIS 1065.
The young pop star also admitted that he is taking things slow.
"I haven't been in a relationship for a while now," Bieber said. "I'm chilling and just hanging out, just being by myself."
Justin Bieber also dismissed rumors that his ex's name was intentionally spray-painted in the music video for the song 'What Do You Mean?'
"I think that might be fake," he said. "That wasn't me that did that."
Despite all the rumors he has to deal with and a broken heart that needs some healing, Justin Bieber still has plenty to smile about. 'What Do You Mean?' has just debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
It is truly a reason to celebrate. 'What Do You Mean?' is only the 23rd single to debut at the top spot in the chart's history. It also happens to be Justin Bieber's first number one single, since the highest spot his songs have reached is at number two for 2012's 'Boyfriend.'
