Not only that, but BBC News reports that France will also get to see the film the same day as the Philippines.

The news regarding earlier release dates follows #ForceFriday, which was the global release of the new official "Star Wars" toys, including BB-8.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after "Return of the Jedi." The trailer features a comeback from Han Solo, which is portrayed by Harrison Ford alongside his co-pilot, Chewbacca.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is expecting the merchandise associated with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" to generate $5 billion in sales within the first year following the film's release.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" features newcomers John Boyega - who plays Finn - and Daisy Ridley - who portrays Rey. They'll be starring alongside "Star Wars" alum Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher.

They star alongside "Game of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie who is set to play Captain Phasma, and Adam Driver who plays Kylo Ren.
