Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 6.
On their special day, the 42-year-old "How I Met Your Mother" actor posted a sweet throwback photo of the happy couple at their wedding night.
"One year ago today I had the pleasure of marrying David Burtka," he wrote in Instagram. "I'm so happy that I did - he's a truly wonderful man. Here's to many more laughs and adventures..!"

Both in Tom Ford ensembles, the photo show the then-newlyweds looking at the sky laughing. The couple who dated for more than ten years tied the knot in Italy last year.
The ceremony was officiated by the couple's friend - HIMYM director and producer Pam Fryman. Old friend Elton John serenaded the lovers at the reception. Both are fathers to four-year-old twins Harper and Gideon - whom they welcomed in 2010.
In May, the 40-year-old Broadway actor proudly shared how he's having the time of his life with his kids. "They're fantastic," he said of the kids. "They're really, really fun. Very different in their own ways.... He's very into Transformers and she wants to be 'presented.' She's singing everywhere; he cooks with me all the time; she wants things brought to her."
He also talked about how he and Harris share responsibilities when it comes to the kids. "I'm sort of more the maternal, 'Come give daddy a hug,'" he said. "[Neil is] more of a disciplinarian and more of a stern task-maker."
In his 2012 interview with Out Magazine, Harris shared how he felt at the first time he fell in-love with Burtka. "I just stammered around him," he said. "I couldn't take my eyes off him. There's something almost kinetic about him and his being."
Neil Patrick Harris, whose net worth is $35 million, was in his mid-20s when he thought he was going to live his life solo. This was not until he met Burtka through a mutual pal and developed a platonic relationship into a blossoming romance.
