Is Nick Jonas The Next Project of Jay Z?

The American singer and songwriter, best known as one of the members of the pop rock band Jonas Brothers - Nick Jonas, was under the close observation of Jay Z (the American record producer) as the singer performed on Saturday at Jay Z's Made in America Festival.

In the American music industry, it is a great privilege for an artist to be endorsed by Jay Z, and Nick Jonas has recently won his admiration and approval.

Nick Jonas will have the advantage as he teams up with one of the most financially successful hip hop artists and entrepreneurs in America - as critics have said that Jay Z has the ability to turn Nick Jonas into the next Justin Timberlake.

A source said to Hollywood Life, "Jay Z is always a forward thinking businessman and always wants to be on the cutting edge of music, business and anything else that will make him the entrepreneur that he is - and his next project is Nick Jonas. He wants to record with him and he wants Beyonce to record with him. He sees Nick as the next Justin Timberlake."

The Daily Mail representative said that Nick Jonas showed up at the event in "rock star black leather" and a gray t-shirt. Aside from performing his own songs, Nick Jonas the former Disney star also did a cover song of Outkast's "Roses" and Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison."

After the event, Nick Jonas posted on Instagram a few photos captured from the Made in America Fest, along with a video of him performing his single "Jealous."  Nick also added photos of him with Jay Z and Kelly Rowland taken during the event.

In addition, Nick Jonas made a statement on the rumors involving him and the American actress, singer and fashion designer - Selena, whom he dated previously. ''We kind of ran into each other a couple of weeks ago, like walking in Venice (California). We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other."

"I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. They're awesome. They're the best. It was a big group of people and we all had a great time. We connect in that sense. It was nice to connect and just catch up. I'll leave it there!"
