Emily Ratajkowski Reveals Healthy Secrets To Getting A Sexy Figure

There is no question that model Emily Ratajkowski has one of the most enviable bodies in Hollywood. The 24-year-old model has famously shown off her figure in the music video for Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' and had a small but memorable part in the Ben Affleck film 'Gone Girl.' Ratajkowski may have been asked how she maintains her toned body a little too often.

Emily Ratajkowski recently spoke with Yahoo! about her fitness secrets and how she actually has insecurities about her body. The former 'iCarly' star also revealed how she became confident in her own skin at a young age.

First of all, she admits she likes to drink juice, but wants you to avoid "juicing."

"To go on these juicing cleanses, I think is possibly the worst decision," Ratajkowski says, who prefers to drink plenty of water and have a salad with quinoa for lunch. She also recommends getting a salad or splitting a dish for dinner.

The young actress also admits that her mother taught her to shrug off her body issues when she was a child. "She taught me that it was a cultural issue and not about me," Ratajkowski said, adding that her mom used to go topless to the beach.

Despite her carefree upbringing, Emily Ratajkowski does have insecurities about her figure. "I don't like the space underneath my butt," she admits. "We all have stuff like that."

Although Emily Ratajkowski reveals her fitness regime to simply be "hiking and yoga for a workout," she is quick to say that not everyone will get the same results.

"We're all different," she said, adding that everybody's body will be affected uniquely depending on which workout you choose.

"That's the message that I really want to get out there," Ratajkowski said. "I'm trying to counteract that culture."

Which culture is Emily Ratjkowski talking about?

"I feel like it's always about how this girl stays thin, or what one girl is doing to another, and it shouldn't be that way," she said. "Female empowerment is always something that I've felt. It's not about just being a model, it's about women in general."

Emily Ratajkowski's most recent project is the Zac Efron film 'We Are Your Friends,' which premiered on August 28.
