For the past few weeks, news outlets all over the world have been reporting that one of the most beloved couples in the U.S., between Brazilian top model and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, is heading for a split - but will Gisele Bundchen's divorce really go through?
Rumors of a Gisele Bundchen divorce started after Brady and the rest of his team were in the middle of a giant scandal called "Deflategate" by the press, as they were accused of knowing footballs had been deflated to help them in their recent Super Bowl victory - and it seemed the issue was taking a huge toll on the marriage.
According to Just Jared, rumors of a possible Gisele Bundchen divorce have subsided to a point in the past couple of days, after the supermodel posted an adorable photo of Brady playing soccer with their 2 year-old daughter Vivian, in what seemed to be the very picture of happiness.
This comes only a few days after Brady formally apologized to the National Football League for the scandal, breaking a silence that had gone on for months and almost cost him a Gisele Bundchen divorce.
While I am pleased to be eligible to play, I am sorry our league had to endure this," wrote Brady on Facebook, according to Entertainment Tonight Online. "I don't think it has been good for our sport - to a large degree, we have all lost. I am also sorry to anyone whose feelings I may have hurt as I have tried to work to resolve this situation. I love the NFL. It is a privilege to be a member of the NFL community and I will always try to do my best in representing my team and the league in a way that would make all members of this community proud."
Last week, E! Online spoke to a source close to the couple who claimed the rumors were unfounded, and in fact Gisele and Tom were still going strong in spite of the controversy.
It seems like those Gisele Bundchen divorce rumors were just around to scare others in the midst of this breakup-filled year, where many from Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck to even Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog have ended their relationships!
