Pro-Surfer Hits Waves In Heels and a Little Black Dress

A female 23-year old pro surfer and model has taken surfing to the next level by riding the waves in a little black dress and heels.  Maud Le Car is a professional surfer from St. Martin in the French Caribbean stunned the viewers by riding the waves in style as reported in Yahoo.

The 23-year old French surfer was born in the island of St. Martin and is currently ranked 15th in the world and has won 7 surf heats this year according to the World Surf League and reported in the Daily Mail.  Maud Le Car is seen having lunch and drinking rose wine with friends at the beginning of the video.  She then stands up and grabs her board.  She runs to the beach, turning heads as she carries her board towards the water wearing a lacy black dress and holding her pair of high heels.

She then stops at the water's edge, puts her shoes and fastens her leg rope.  She paddles out to sea and gracefully rode the waves like a true champion.  Ripping through the waves, Le Car swims back and catches another wave, smiling as she passes other surfers.

The Volcom sponsored athlete seems perfectly at ease as she pulls a couple of turns in the unlikely attire.  The video was actually shot as an advertisement for natural mosquito protection band, Para'Kito brand, one of the surfer's sponsors.  The brand explains, "Surfing is one of the most physically demanding sports", and described the surfer as both glamorous and talented at the same time.

In an interview with Volcom, Le Car described her passion for surfing as a dream come true.  "I always wanted to be a pro surfer and I work so hard for it so I am proud today to be living my dreams."  Le Car was not actually the first surfer to attempt wearing evening dress and heels while surfing.  Two years ago, a group of three Russian surfers were seen in their best heels competing in Bali year 2013.  The competition was held in Kuta Beach and created a trend among female surfers.
