Hugh Jackman, who has played Wolverine six times in X- Men movies revealed that he was once approached to do a James Bond role but he rejected the offer because he thought it's not the right time.
"At the time I was just about to do X-Men 2 and I was like, 'Ah, I don't think it's the right time,'" he told the Australian TV show 'The Project,' as per TIME.
"But it was not an easy one to give up," he added.
But if he will be asked again to do the Bond role, he admitted "I'd seriously consider it."
While Jackman has throwing signs that he is willing to do a James Bond role, Daniel Craig, who plays the 007 released some vague statements, suggesting that 'Spectre' might be his last Bond movie.
"I don't know," he told Esquire. "I really don't know. Honestly. I'm not trying to be coy. At the moment I can't even conceive it."
And when asked if he would do another Bond movie after the 'Spectre.'
He replied, "At this moment, no. I have a life and I've got to get on with it a bit. But we'll see."
Even though he's having some second thoughts to play another Bond character, he admitted that he love the whole experienced.
"I love James Bond movies, and I love all the old gags and everything that goes along with that," he said. "No disrespect to what happened before but this is completely different. It's got weight and meaning."
And when he was asked what he won't miss about the whole experience, it is being recognized by many people as James Bond, he answered
"The day I can walk into a pub and someone goes, 'Oh, there's Daniel Craig' and then just leaves me alone, that'll be great," he said.
